WHAT WE DO
Self-Organizing Leadership
As a community of learning and practice (connected by C-SOL), we
view organizations and communities as if they are living systems having the
inherent capacity to consciously co-create their own futures. When the people
in the organizations engage in open and honest conversations and are led with this as an overt intention, they experience a
release of energy, creativity, meaning and capability that is not available
through other means. Our task in C-SOL is to create the conditions and hold the
space open for honest conversation to take place; and to guide and support people in
finding, recognizing, forming and reforming the inherent Leadership
capabilities that people within organizations and communities require today to
thrive and become more sustainable.
More and more people are coming to realize that the most
effective leaders are those who are able to create the conditions and
hold the space open, guiding conversations in
their organizations, releasing the creativity and energy of the people they
work with. These are leaders who believe in the inherent creativity and
vitality of people; and, who have come to understand how to apply these
consciously-lifted-up
leadership processes. We call this Self-Organizing Leadership™.
